Kommattivaara Ski Resort is a family-owned business located in Sodankyl\u00e4. Its story began in autumn 1993, when Jouko \u201cJokkeri\u201d Hietala opened the slopes for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are one of the oldest privately owned ski resorts in Finland, and today the business is already run by the second generation. The resort is operated by sons Ollimatti and Teemu, with their mother Tarja also playing a key role \u2013 taking care of the caf\u00e9, baking doughnuts and preparing pizzas. The third generation is already growing into the family business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Kommattivaara Ski Resort, service is genuinely warm and personal. We are always happy to help, even with small things \u2013 like fastening your ski boots. What matters most to us is that every visitor feels welcome and enjoys their time on the slopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
